Triangles in a Hexagon: Middle Secondary Mathematics Competition Question


The figure BCDEFG is a regular hexagon. The lines GC and BE are perpendicular and meet at point A.

a) Find the ratio of Area ADE : Area ABG.

b) Show that angle ADE is not a right angle.
