Pentomino P-Tilings: Lower Secondary Mathematics Competition Question

Continuing our investigations into pentominoes, take the P and Q shapes (as shown in the diagram) together with their rotations.

a) For which n ϵ N is it possible to tile a 5 × n rectangle (to cover it without overlap and without gaps)?

b) For which n, m ϵ N is it possible to tile an m × n rectangle (to cover it without overlap and without gaps)?
