Sharing Coins: Upper Primary Mathematics Competition Question

Jane has 4 coins whose mean value is 4 pence. John has 6 coins whose mean value is 6 pence.

A) If they put all their coins together what is the mean value of their combined total?

B) Also, if their coins can only be of values 1, 2, 5, 10 and 20 pence, is it possible for Jane and John to divide their coins evenly so that they each have the same value? In how many ways can this be done?
